Tumbleweed the Cowboy Flamingo

I absolutely adored this book, I found it to be very fun to read and also very informative, which I'm always looking for in my books. I'm constantly looking for books I can give to my nieces and nephews I'm glad I found this one. I look forward to seeing what other fun adventures Tumbleweed and his friends get up to.

We have loved reading this book! The illustrations are beautiful. My son especially loved the glossary of cowboy terms and the illustrated map. Each chapter is a short adventure that is great for bedtime reading. We’ve struggled to find chapter books that work for our family’s standards and I was so pleased to find that Tumbleweed met this need for us. I would describe this book as fun, light-hearted, adventurous and soothing to the soul. I think this book could be enjoyed by young ones around age 4 as a read aloud and onwards to 12 years as a chapter book. I think I’d even read this fun tale myself, as an adult!

My 11yo loves reading. He is in the 6th grade with a 9th grade reading level, (however, I think he's far beyond my reading level!) He's read every youth book series that I know of and says he loves this book!! He says it's a good story, creative, and fun. And is asking if there is more! Hoping there's a series for him!!
